In the end, Lorenzo had dropped into second place in the standings after he failed to finish due to fall on the Silverstone track, with Stoner crossed the finish line first for the fourth time this season.
Ducati equip Valentino Rossi with a new bike for the Dutch MotoGP race weekend. Ducati GP11.1 expected to take the Italian re-compete at the top with Casey Stoner and Jorge Lorenzo. Not just a new chassis that will Rossi owned, because the bike is also adopting Honda's transmission inspired system that make the Japanese manufacturer dominant this year. No surprise, Rossi put great hopes on the new bike.
Dani Pedrosa should be miss again in the MotoGP Iveco TT Assen. The Honda rider did not appear in the Netherlands at the weekend and was replaced by Hiroshi Aoyama.
