Since NASCAR is moving again . Well, almost in motion. On Saturday, Speedweeks officially started with Sprint Unlimited. A total of eight days of speed and a lot of noise in one of the historical places in the American racing : Daytona.

2013 winner Jimmie Johnson out of 500 miles , in a career that is remembered for the negative surprise at the disappearance of pack-racing . Looking ahead to 2014 this item has tried to bring back to the slopes, and the complaints have been clear and concise by fans .

After eight days of racing the Daytona 500 will be played . Heading into this race there are many desires in the air, and when the test on Sunday February 23 we will have the first interim qualified for the 2014 Chase . A Chase that many drivers concerned, and motivates others . The chance to win in NASCAR is higher than in other categories, and if Daytona.

In recent years there have been two underdogs wins above the rest . The most recent was at Talladega in 2013, with David Ragan surprising in a magical sunset. The other brings us to 2011, when Trevor Bayne won the Great American Race. It catapulted his fame. Now Trevor Bayne is in the Nationwide and have multiple sclerosis.

With the current rules, the champion in 2013 would have been Dale Earnhardt Jr. Curious if not more, but the champion of 2014 is still waiting to run. Waiting to get into the car under the watchful eyes of millions of viewers. This is the Daytona 500, the Great American Race. And on Sunday we will have the first 23 of title contenders .
