F1 Sepang Malaysia 2012 Preview

 F1 Sepang Malaysia 2012
Sepang International Circuit
    Sepang, Selangor, Malaysia
23, 24, 25 March 2012

No rest after the F1 World began in Australia last weekend, the Great Circus arrives in Malaysia for the second calendar appointment. McLaren was the strongest team in the first round of the championship, while Red Bull was not far in the race, or Mercedes or Lotus in qualifying. But the Melbourne circuit is not very representative of the potential of each car, so in Sepang, with all curves, long straights and more demanding than that of Melbourne with the tires, should clarify the current situation more competitive.

With several changes in direction of high speed, features two long straights, twisty corners, and closed hairpins, the Sepang circuit, which hosts the F1 GP since 1999 is considered one of the best modern circuits. Finding a good balance on the car is vital, and it is no coincidence that the last three seasons the winner of this GP has achieved the world title ...

In Sepang downforce needed for its many curves, good cooling by heat, and low drag for the straights. The heat and humidity of the tropics adds another dimension to the race, being too hard on the mechanics, drivers and everyone in F1. Besides its characteristic and sudden intense downpours of rain dramatically affect the competition as we have seen in 2001 and 2009, and keep the eyes on, because this weekend could be a good example.
