GP3 Race Silverstone Great Britain 2011
Race 2 GP3 British 2011. The first race won by Nico Müller at Silverstone in GP3 in the rain. The Swiss ahead of seven British. Adrian Quaife-Hobbs was on pole but like most drivers, he had the slicks for the departure, while a heavy rain began before the race. All these drivers have changed their tires at the end of the formation lap, leaving only eleven drivers on the grid.
Nico Müller, sixth, so it ended on pole in rain tires. The Swiss was doubled by Michael Christensen at first, but it has hooked up with Nigel Melker. Müller regained the lead and widened the gap to win.
Note that Müller finished ahead of Britain sequence, which will be starting the first seven Sunday morning due to the reverse grid.
