Kurt Busch wins NASCAR Sprint Cup 2011 race at Sonoma, California

NASCAR Sprint Cup at Sears point, Sonoma result. Kurt Busch getting his first victory this season in Infineon, California. Penske drivers have shown throughout the abilities he had, lost his leading position in the qualifying round only after making at least two mistakes in the flying lap.




Though he only start from eleventh position on the grid, he showed the speed in driving, his team also perfect conduct two-stop strategy that gave him a clean track ahead to make the most of the tracks, while the other top competitors trying to restock after a stop for additional fuel and tires.
Busch led the race on lap thiteen after passing early race leader Denny Hamlin, who has taken over in front of polesitter, Joey Logano.
Kurt Busch's victory has raised his position up to three places in the standings to fourth, while Dale Earnhardt Jr. dropped the same number of positions after retired with engine issues following damage from a multi-car incident.
